JUNETEENTH MASS SHOOTING IN ILLINOIS;ONE VIC TAKES A NIG NAP--21 OTHERS INJURED.
WILLOWBROOK, Ill. (WGN) – One person is dead and more than 20 others were injured in a shooting at a Juneteenth celebration early Sunday morning in Willowbrook, Illinois, police have confirmed.
Authorities were near the celebration, which began around 6 p.m. Saturday, “monitoring the scene, the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m., authorities were called away from the Juneteenth celebration for a fight, but, as deputies were responding, they heard gunshots and returned to the scene.
“Initially, I could see the scene coming down the street, and I knew we were going to have a significant response in the area,” said Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander with the Tri-State Fire Protection District.
Responding crews say they found multiple people injured after “an unknown number of suspects fired multiple rounds from multiple weapons into the crowd.”
As of Sunday afternoon, the DuPage County Sheriff has confirmed that 22 people were injured. Injuries ranged from graze wounds to more serious wounds, according to Ostrander. Several others were injured while trying to leave the area.
One person has died from their injuries, authorities said.

I watched the WGN tv report and all the cops were White,the police chief,Joe Ostrander is White,but the sole witness was a fat,black chick who told WGN that"this occurred at 12:30 am,Sunday.We were all leaving the strip mall area when 'somebody' (blacks)started firing multiple rounds on the crowd of (black)people celebrating Juneteenth."
Spectacular finish to the night.Another one of those "pop-up parties"(riots) that blacks are rapidly becoming famous for in Grand Rapids,but this one was in Willowbrook.

And indeed,Willowbrook is 82% White,TWO PERCENT bLACK--which tells you plenty--that you don't need a lot of blacks living in town to have the potential for something like this to happen.But even I thought 2% would be a fairly safe number.
If 2% isn't safe,no number is safe.

TWO DAY JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL IN ASHEVILLE,N.C. CANCELLED FOR SUNDAY AFTER SHOOTING ON SATURDAY.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The second day of the Juneteenth Festival in Asheville has been canceled following a shooting that happened at the end of the festival on Saturday night.
Asheville Police say they responded to reports of a shooting near Court Plaza around 8:51 p.m.
When officers arrived to the scene they found two juveniles with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital, where one has since been released, and the other remains in critical condition.
APD says they were able to find two suspects nearby and take them into custody before clearing one of those suspects.
A 16-year-old, whose name is not being released, is facing two counts of Felonious Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
Officers recovered a 9mm pistol and other physical evidence in the park.
The 2-day festival was scheduled to pick back up at 1 p.m. Sunday.(GRA:"Was" the operative word).
People can begin picking up items left behind at Pack Square starting at 10 a.m.

Shooter was taken into custody but he, or she, has not been identified yet. Details are sparse but the article does state this in the 2nd paragraph:
The suspect shot at one point “randomly into the crowd,” at a campground near the Gorge Amphitheater where the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music festival was taking place,
then this later on:
“The shooter then walked away from where the incident happened,” he said. He added that after law enforcement moved into the area “he continued to randomly shoot into the crowd and the suspect was eventually taken into custody.”
Foreman said that two people were killed and three were injured including the suspect.
Sounds like it was a targeted shooting that turned into a random shooting. Usually targeted shooters shoot their target and that's it, who targets someone then just starts randomly shooting at other people? Sounds like something a negr....oops, shouldn't make any assumptions because we just don't know yet and this is the Pacific NW in an area that shouldn't be particularly "diverse", but it's a music festival that probably drew concertgoers from all over. Interestingly, the news TV bit I saw showed a group of negroes walking around when it ran, was that a clue?
