And they kick the ball up the field,where the other team takes possession and kicks the ball up the field the other way.Now,the ball bounces off a player's head and up the field.WAIT--it looks like there's a chance to SCORE--no,offsides--and the ref gives the ball to a player--who kicks it down the field.Somehow the ball has made its way,slowly,to the goalie,who grasps the ball--and kicks it up the field.

It's only 2 minutes into the game--2 more hours of this to go,as the ball is kicked up the field.

Two players run into each other while the ball rolls up the field--they fall down,causing a brief pause in the "action".Now there's a throw-in and the ball is kicked up the field to no one in particular.A player catches up to the ball and sends it to a teammate who loses the ball and it's kicked down the field.

More soccer play by play on request.
