Breaking: SCOTUS rules 5-4 in favor of Trump travel ban. This case was brought by the state of Hawaii. Good thing Trump got to appoint Gorsuch. Trump based the travel ban on "national security," not a religious ban. CNN, while picking it apart, seemed to be saying this ruling—as with the gay cake case, is limited only to this particular scenario, because Trump threw in North Korea and Venezuela, along with Muslim countries. All Muslim countries MAY not have won over the backing of the Court. It's all in the nuance. FOX interpreted it as "an overwhelming affirmation of his broad authority."

N.S.: This means that Mitch McConnell has been good for something. It was McConnell, if memory serves, who blocked the John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama” from foisting Merritt Garland on the high court, which would have turned this vote into a victory for “Obama.”

The BAN. Temporary ban for ninety days from six nations until things can be sorted out.

The Islamic State captured intact the printing presses, paper, ink to make perfect fool-proof passports for their agents and terrorists.

Trump did the right thing. Observe too that four justices voted nay.
