Memorial service turns into target practice in chicago last night; seven shot, one takes a “nig nap”

“(cnn) at least one person is dead and six others are injured after an overnight shooting in chicago, according to police.

“the seven people were shot after a large group gathered on the 4800 block of w. iowa street to celebrate the life of a man who was killed in a car accident four years ago, police said.

[GRA: Seems innocent enough, but THEN...]

“around one in the morning, a verbal [sic] argument started and more than one person began shooting, chicago police department deputy chief Adnardo Gutierrez told reporters in a video posted by cnn affiliate wls.

[GRA: How do you start an argument at a “memorial service”?]

[N.S.: Department of redundancy department alert: All arguments are verbal. It is also highly unlikely that two or more people simultaneously began shooting, unless they were members of the same gang, but the fake news reporter doesn’t give any information regarding gang affiliation. Indeed, a typical, fundamental journalism failure is that fake news reporters never give the gang affiliation of the decedent—Mr. 2019 Car Accident—or that of the shooters. Such negligent reporting makes you wonder if the “car accident” was really an accident. This sort of non-reporting led me years ago to call chicago tribune fake crime reporter Peter Nickeas, No-Name Nickeas. Nickeas would constantly report on gang murders without ever saying which gang controlled the intersection where a rub-out had been committed, or which gang contested said control. And that was on top of refusing to give the names of vics or suspects, or physical descriptions of perps.]

“a 25-year-old woman was transported to Mt. Sinai medical center, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead, Gutierrez said.

“five victims were taken to Stroger hospital and one person was taken to west suburban medical center, Gutierrez added.

“no one is in custody at this time, and detectives with the chicago police area 4 division said they are investigating.”

GRA: “We will not rest until we figure out who shot these (blacks), now come on Ed, let’s go grab a bite to eat.”
