baltimore police commissioner Michael Harrison identified the officer shot as Keona Holley. Dr. Thomas Scalea, physician-in-chief at Shock Trauma said Holley is in the intensive care unit, her injuries are life-threatening, she is critically ill and remains on full life-support measures.

Gang wars variation--black cops who are not corrupt(count them on one hand)are targets as much as gang members on the street--they just wear a blue uniform.White cops are all targets.

Sounds like a planned ambush to me. Not your average every-day civilian and cop encounter.
