Vasquez is held on $100,000 bail and also has an immigration hold, according to Dallas County jail records.

So $100k bail for being an illegal alien who shot/killed a cop -- $5m (50x) for raping a 92 y/o woman ('returning home from her dialysis appointment').

Sorry -- it's the illegal alien wife whose bail is $100k.

Texas to allow carrying handguns without permit or background check

What is the history of the weapons involved? -- apparently a well-armed family (I'm assuming separate weapons):

Vasquez [ed: the scorned wife] reportedly pointed a gun at her husband's girlfriend during the incident, police said. ... When Houston arrived at the scene, Jaramillo [ed: the cheating husband] shot him twice before the officer returned fire, wounding him. Jaramillo then shot himself in the head, the same official said.

Bizarre incident.

When trying to find a foto of the suspect, I came across this heartwarming story:

My parents gave me an ‘American’ name. Now I wonder: Should I keep it? -- For many immigrants, choosing a new name has been a way to adopt the American life with a new identity.

In the above story, the father's name is Jaime Jaramillo.

My father, Jaime Jaramillo, was in and out of the country during my mother’s pregnancy and for the first two years of my life. He’d work jobs in the U.S. and come back to see me and my mother. My dad, sick of the low wages and adversity in his country, decided to uproot his life and family and come to the United States.

Another heartwarming story out of Texas:

Rohingya mosque in Dallas fosters community, strength among refugees who fled Myanmar -- Northeast Dallas is home to hundreds of Rohingya families that are getting a chance at a life free from violence and oppression

The byline is Hojun Choi.

As someone once said (or maybe not) about Texas:

“It’s basically over for Anglos”

"Escaping the country filled with violent people"-- lol--I always smh when I read that crap. They're running away from their own people(who are violent) but we're supposed to welcome violent people(which they admit their group is!)

Reminds me of the story where a foreign country wanted American military help--"but no blacks!"

In otherwords,"keep the violent people out of our country."

We should say the same.

Navy Veteran, Elementary School Teacher Killed in Crash Involving 3 Suspected Drunk Drivers

Look at the names in this story (Marsalis Brown sounds like the name of a black man):

The victims were identified as Sergio Moriel, 31, and Melissa Aguilar, 27. ... According to Dallas police, the victim's car became disabled in a lane along the highway and was then hit by Marsalis Brown, 31. Brown was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. ... Police said two other drivers were then involved in the crash and were also driving under the influence: Jose Salazar-Reza, 28, and Grayson Tsai Meu Chong, 24 are both charged with DWI.

I don't know how any white man can read a story like this and not feel a kind of visceral anger -- fucking hell man, this is Texas.

They actually said he was an illegal alien! How quaint.

Does Elon Musk want us to die? https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/elon-musk-thinks-you-should-die/ar-AARzbUf?ocid=entnewsntp
No, he didn't say that. Click bait title definitely misrepresented what he actually said but I do think there is something revealing in his comments. Let's say theoretically, scientists create a super long life elixir but it only gets distributed to the ultra rich who can afford to pay vast amounts of money for it, would Musk turn it down since he's "super rich"? Would he then hypocritically deny it to the less well off? Since there's no way he'd turn it down himself, no matter what he says, of course he'd take it, but he doesn't think we deserve it. Of course, what would be the consequences of extended life spans to the world? Skyrocketing world populations? Maybe not 1st world ones, we're not having babies but the 3rd world? Imagine Africa and Muslim countries with their high birth rates but few deaths, not something I like to think about. I see many cans of worms being opened here so will stop now and just say that the thought of the richest men the world achieving "immortality" or even super long life, is one heck of a scary thought. Maybe we'd finally have to summon up the courage to take matters in our own hands and get rid of them. One way or the other.
