wikipedia/Fred Hiatt/History

The wikidorks have been furiously editing his page recently – literally dozens of edits over the last few days, whereas if you look at the earlier history, it was only edited 5x in 2021 before Dec 06.

I imagine they were careful to add this text:

Hiatt had a history of heart disease.[4] On November 24, 2021, he was hospitalized after going into cardiac arrest in New York City, where he was visiting his daughter. He never regained consciousness and died on December 6, at the age of 66.

[4] points to a gushing obit in the nyt; but it’s behind a paywall, so I cannot see what it says about a history of heart disease — The Hill also refers to the nyt’s claim that he had heart disease – link.

How convenient.
