(Mlive.com)KALAMAZOO, MI – As some people sat outside the Kalamazoo Metro Transportation Center Saturday, as buses came and went, a gunman opened fire, wounding three people and ultimately being fatally shot by police.

Three people were shot and injured by Anthony Oliver at the downtown bus station at 9:11 a.m., Nov. 27, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said. Oliver was shot and killed by KDPS officers responding to the scene of the shootings.

Oliver, 54, was running around the center, attempting to board a bus with his gun drawn after the shootings, as can be seen in security camera footage from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Transportation, released Wednesday during a KDPS news conference.


Wounded in the shooting were a 47-year-old woman, a 46-year-old man and a 61-year-old man. All are from Kalamazoo, and were treated at hospitals and released.

In video captured by cameras inside and outside the buses at the city bus station, three shots can be heard right before a man runs onto a bus. Someone closes the door before Oliver can board the bus. A pistol is visible in his hand.

link -- Not a legal expert, so curious why they charged this 15-year-old White kid with terrorism and not Darrell Brooks? ... Also, they charged the White kid as an adult which allows them to legally reveal his identity. Did I mention he's White?

I don't think one necessarily needs to be a legal expert to have a pretty good idea why some things happen today and others don't.

But one can ask: What criteria are used to decide whether or not an act of 'terror' occurred? -- if you look at 'mass' shootings, most of those are black-on-black, and ghetto thugs are not normally charged with 'terror' related offenses -- the black kid who recently shot up a high school in Texas, and (in)famously was granted bail immediately, was also not charged with any 'terror' offense -- ?

Disappointed that we won't be able to see whether he would have been charged with a 'terror' offense or not.
