The Bad News is that the Pfizer Vax is Only 23% Effective against Omicron; the Good News is that Omicron is a Mild Version of Covid

(ZH) A few days ago, researchers in South Africa shared data from a preliminary study showing that the Pfizer vaccine is less effective at blocking the omicron variant than earlier variants like beta and delta. Now, the team is telling us exactly how much less effective the vaccine is.

According to the same data gleaned from the blood plasma taken from 12 patients who tested positive for omicron, the team found that a two-shot course of Pfizer’s vaccine has just 22.5% efficacy against symptomatic infection with the omicron variant, though it can thwart severe disease, according to laboratory experiments in South Africa, according to Bloomberg.

The data comes courtesy of a team of researchers at the Africa Health Research Institute in Durban.

The 'bad news' is endless variants and endless (required) vaccines -- but the latter is true of 'boosters' as well, so one could ask: how, or for how long, is the current vaccine effective against COVID?

If the new omicron model is truly much more mild, the best thing we could do is let it spread and replace the delta version. With few dying there would be so much lying that people might rebel and refuse the boosters and mandates. Overall mortality increases with vaccinations and so do new variants. People must say enough is enough. And Trump needs to stop spreading the vax Kool-Aide or disgusted voters will include he is part of the problem. If he wants to remain viable he must learn to swallow his pride and admit he was fooled by the corrupt "experts" from the government agencies. With the Robert Kennedy Jr. book, the cat is out of the bag.

BIZARRE STORY--ZOOS ARE VAXXING ANIMALS FOR COVID--GRAND RAPIDS' ZOO TIGER CONTRACTS IT ANYWAYS.

GRA:I did not know zoos were vaxxing animals.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The John Ball Zoo says one of its Amur tigers has tested positive for COVID-19.

Nika, a 16-year-old female Amur tiger, recently became ill and tested positive for COVID-19. She was scheduled to get her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine the day that she became sick, the zoo said.

Dr. Ryan Colburn, the zoo’s veterinarian, said Nika is doing well, and her health continues to improve.

Zoo officials believe Nika was likely exposed to the virus from a pre-symptomatic, positive member of the animal care team.

“The animal care and veterinary teams have been diligent with our use of (personal protective equipment) and other safety protocols in all animal spaces in particular our felid, primate, and small carnivore spaces, but we also know that no system is perfect in preventing a highly contagious virus,” Colburn said in a release.

The zoo notes no other animals are showing COVID-19 symptoms at this time. Out of an abundance of caution, the zoo will conduct additional testing of its other two tigers.

Tigers, chimpanzees, lions, snow leopards and small carnivores at the facility are completely vaccinated or are scheduled to receive their second COVID-19 vaccination, according to the zoo.

GRA:Can you believe this? How low on the animal chain do they go,you wonder? If you're vaccinating animals, that opens up an entirely new Pandoras Box of insanity,in regard to transmissibilty and mutations. So now,if your cat goes outside, catches Covid from another cat--who got it from a human--he can give it to you?Lol,how bizarre is this concept? And the vaxx STILL doesn't prevent transmission--even between animals and humans--or stops actual illness.Whatta vaxx--whatta story.
