Older people have always been the highest risk group to die of respiratory ailments. To put it more in perspective, check out the flu/influenza stats the past year:

Essentially, the same number of people have died of respiratory ailments (including Covid) as any other year, it’s just that most of those deaths are now being attributed to Covid. Now, I could see how mask-wearing and better hygiene could reduce the incidence of respiratory disease but for the numbers to plummet so low doesn’t seem right. There are 100 different virus, bacteria, and germs that can cause a respiratory illness, and some of them are always present in our bodies. Then, when you get old enough, your body’s immune system collapses and you can get sick with a fatal respiratory illness, regardless of whether you have been exposed.
N.S.: Last year, the msm claimed tat the flue virtually disappeared. And if you believe that, I’ve got a great deal for you on a slightly used bridge. My hunch? Officials were burying China Virus deaths in the flu numbers. With fake stats, one shuffles the numbers around.
