Hearing Re-Scheduled in Brittney Watts Murder Case

A bond and preliminary hearing for Nkosi Thandiwe, the suspect in the murder of Brittney Watts and the wounding of two other young women, one of them paralyzed, is now set.

Family members of the victims were in court hoping the case would proceed. Thandiwe is now supposed to appear before a Fulton County judge on Monday, October 3.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution calls this case the "Midtown Shooting Spree" and the suspect the "Midtown Shooter." To me, it is the Brittney Watts murder case. We also keep in mind Lauren Garcia being paralyzed.

The title the AJC uses de-personalizes the crime and the heinous nature of it.

I knew Brittney. I knew her smile that lit up the environment. SHE was KILLED. I feel for the others that were injured but my friend is in the afterlife because of this man. Due to Law, you take the most hainis act to convict and then charge the afterthought. I am sorry your friend is paralyzed but my amazing light in my life is gone.
