If President Trump is criticizing illegal aliens, legal immigration, and/or “refugees,” it can only mean one thing: He’s out of office, and wants to win (in this case, for the third time) the White House. But once he’s in the White House, the con-man suffers a convenient, four-year case of “amnesia.”

But neither did the MAGA worthies bellow full-throated support. That aside, Trump went beyond the usual denunciation of illegal immigration and said refugee resettlement and legal immigration must stop….”

What a clown -- again: find and replay his 2019 SOTU where he says he wants more immigrants than ever to come to the US -- or his interview with Laura Ingraham defending a big increase in H-1B visas -- Blumpf cannot be trusted or taken seriously -- it is a shame he is still around to take up energy on the political Right -- more proof 'there's one born every minute'.

Trump had more important things to do than pull out the stops on halting immigration. Having a Twitterkampf with Rosie O'Donnell and bombing Syria, for example.
The latter illustrates the sacred American political doctrine of "Invasion here, troops somewhere else."
I forgot to mention Coulter's urging him in meetings to do something about immigration. She even had a shouting match with him over it before she turned against him in disgust. It's not like the seriousness of the problem had not been forcefully conveyed to him. As with 99% of politicians, he wanted open borders. For reasons E. Michael Jones could explain.
When he finally was forced to do something he strangely sought to avail himself of statutes giving him authority to deal with "emergencies,” SHMG. God forbid he should be so extreme as to claim power to repel invasion under Art. I, Sect. 4!!! He chose self-neutering then and always. Two carrier battle groups to Korea? Sure. Of course. One @#$&+* infantry squad to the border? Hell no. Are you @#$&+* crazy!!
