By Jerry PDX I’m surprised; I really thought they would bow to pressure and make sure the new host was either black, gay, or a woman. I had a feeling they would pick Levar Burton but he was terrible, too excited and too over the top.

Mike Richard actually had experience hosting other game shows, and I will say he was probably better than anybody else at handling the pacing of the show. But all those guest hosts made me realize, anybody can really do the job, even a jock like Aaron Rodgers. From what I read, he had the highest ratings of any host, and I wonder if they would have chosen him if he had been willing to take the pay cut.
N.S.: I was under the impression that LeVar Burton was a done deal, and that the producers were prepared to commit showbiz suicide. Sometimes, greed is good.

I think the guy on this week,David Faber from CNBC,is probably the best host of all of them--Jennings #2.Great on-air persona and very intelligent.
Richards,I detested immediately.He's probably more of a liberal than Joy Behar and he brought up diversity often during his stint.
But he IS White.
They may lose me anyways as a viewer.

Yes, I didn't like Richards diversity comments either but has there been one host that isn't a far left liberal tool? Jennings was my favorite host also but his sophomoric Trump bashing revealed him to be just another brainy political dunce. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get a major game show gig without being a Wokester. Someone like Pat Sajak would never be hired nowadays, unless he pretended to be something he wasn't.
A white man? A white man? A bi-racial, bi-sexual person of color would have been better. And if an illegal alien so much more so.
