GRA: They got me to watch some of the game tonight, passively, with the Field of Dreams promotion...first game in Iowa, etc. The Chicano White Sox were on—and the Yankees.
fox talked to Gerrit Cole about his Covid infection, which he said was pretty nasty—“like a bad flu.”
But he’s ready to go again in the next week.
I didn’t know he had it, nor do I know about any other players who do—that’s how little I follow baseball now.
I don’t miss it—not the current game—the baseball of pre-2010—yes.
