A forty-five minute knife fight? Lots of slashing and no stabs. Must have been a lot of blood.

A reggae festival. There it is in the nutshell. You don't need to know one thing further to know what was occurring. And the crew might have been thrown overboard if the boat had not continued to the island. Irate passengers don't mind a knife fight but to be late for some reggae heaven forbid.
