Ho hum. Just another day at the office. Black man commits crime. Arson too the one instance of where you can kill the offender in defense of property. You don't know if someone is inside the building, residence, etc.

TRIPLE SHOOTING IN PORTAGE,MICHIGAN,AT ENTRANCE TO HIGHWAY;ONE DEAD.

GRA:Portage(near Kalamazoo)doesn't have a lot of blacks, but what they DO have, usually make themselves known in this manner.

PORTAGE, Mich. — Three people, including a baby, were shot Friday night, next to the Oakland Drive and I-94 carpool lot, according to the Portage Department of Public Safety.

It happened adjacent to the park and ride lot, on the entrance ramp to I-94 West.

Two vehicles exited I-94 West at Oakland Drive around 11 p.m., police said.

The vehicle with the three shooting victims then jumped a curb and crashed into a tree, according to police.

A 22-year-old Kalamazoo woman was killed after being shot, police said. A second woman and an 18-month old baby were also shot, but police aren't able to confirm how serious their injuries are.

The second vehicle involved in this shooting got away, according to police. Police said they are searching for a dark color Pontiac Grand Am.

A 42-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested after he was seen fleeing the area on foot and attempted to enter the car of a passing motorist. He was arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants, officials said.

(GRA:You could do that picking up any random black on the street.)

Portage Department of Public Safety officers looked through the Oakland Drive carpool lot, and nearby woods with flashlights Friday night. A K9 team and a crime lab were also called in to investigate the scene.

"We had some reports that a subject was seen fleeing on foot from the area and we located somebody at the intersection of Kilgore and Oakland," Nick Armold, Portage Public Safety Director said.
