SALMAN RUSHDIE ATTACKED IN NEW YORK FRIDAY MORNING
CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. (AP) — Salman Rushdie, the author whose writing led to death threats from Iran in the 1980s, was attacked Friday as he was about to give a lecture in western New York.
An Associated Press reporter witnessed a man storm the stage at the Chautauqua Institution and begin punching or stabbing Rushdie as he was being introduced. The 75-year-old author was pushed or fell to the floor, and the man was restrained.
Rushdie was quickly surrounded by a small group of people who held up his legs, presumably to send more blood to his chest.
His condition was not immediately known.
GRA:Probably an illegal(muslim)committing the attack.
12.06 New York state police issue statement on Rushdie New York state police also have issued a statement in regards to the attack on Rushdie, writing:
On August 12, 2022, at about 11 a.m., a male suspect ran up onto the stage and attacked Rushdie and an interviewer. Rushdie suffered an apparent stab wound to the neck, and was transported by helicopter to an area hospital. His condition is not yet known.
Roger Warner of Cleveland, Ohio, was sitting on the front row at the amphitheater with his wife when Rushdie was attacked. Mr. Warner said he saw a tall, slender man leap onto the stage from the left side and begin attacking Salman Rushdie. He thought the man had punched Rushdie three or four times in the face. Then he saw the blood. “He was covered with blood and there was blood running down onto the floor,” Mr. Warner said. “I just saw blood all around his eyes and running down his cheek.”

I think the doctors are trying to reconnect the thingamajig to the whatchamacallit. He'd better hope his doc in E.R. isn't named Mohammed.

He's an A-rab--the perp.

At 6:30 p.m.,cbs reported Rushdie had been stabbed in his neck AND abdomen. They reported he was still in surgery.
If he's been in surgery this long, his odds of surviving without major aftereffects are poor--if he survives.
Who wants to survive if major bodily functions are destroyed?
Not moi.
