C'mon now Old Brownie. I am waiting for Chicago PD chief Brown to get his secret plan to cut the number of murders in Chicago. I am waiting.

Believe me in my old age now I cannot be impressed by these senior police offices with all the egg salad on their caps and the four stars and white shirts and such.

Same way as it was in the Old West. If you stayed out of gambling dens, brothels and saloons you had a very low expectation of ever getting shot, regardless of the number of firearms being carried.
