A couple very talented actors/entertainers.Billy Crystal,Steve Martin,Jerry Seinfeld,Martin Short are the last of the breed.No replacements on the horizon.

What does that tell you about the shape the country is in?

Gilbert Gottfried,Norm MacDonald just died,but they were past their peak and anyone who would attempt to follow in their footsteps of shocking,stream of consciousness comedy,would no doubt be banned from most TV shows.

black comics--suuuure--they can say whatever they want on any show they choose to appear.Whitey comics have been given the heave-ho.

GRA:There HAVE to be some parameters as to what a character is supposed to be--physically.Could Woody Allen be "Rooster Cogburn"?Could Oprah Winfrey play James T.Kirk? Of course not.But the replacement of Whitey continues.I've never watched "Doctor Who",though I'm aware of the number of actors who played the character.Still there's no excuse for choosing a black to play a role that was originally a White Brit.

(usa today).Actor Ncuti Gatwa will play the role of The Doctor in the show Doctor Who, the BBC announced Sunday, in a historic casting selection that marks the first time a black person has been cast to star in the show's central role full-time.

The 29-year-old Gatwa, best known for his work in the Netflix series Sex Education, is also among the youngest Doctors yet.

"There aren't quite the words to describe how I'm feeling."

Gatwa was born in Rwanda and raised in Scotland.

He becomes the 14th actor to be cast in the iconic role, following the departure of Jodie Whittaker, who was the first woman to play the role when she was cast in 2017.

In 2020, a black person played a variation of the Doctor role for the first time when Jo Martin was cast as the Fugitive Doctor.

In the progressive paradise of Portland we finally had a rash of hate crimes with an appropriately "White" suspect...except, guess what? The perp turned out to be 34 year old Michael Bivins, a White far left journalist who has been reporting on the right for liberal media for years. https://thepostmillennial.com/portland-journalist-who-reported-on-the-alt-right-for-liberal-papers-arrested-over-attacks-on-synagogues-mosque

I recognized the name as soon as it was reported in the media, I've read his articles in WW and other local leftist publications. He is a typical self righteous Wokester who whips up hysteria about imaginary White supremacism and mindlessly supports the BLM, LGBTQ etc... agendas.

Normally, catching a White man doing something like this gets 24/7 coverage but there has been a noticeable lack of enthusiasm on local reporting about this incident, undoubtedly because too much focus on this will make the public aware that it is yet another hate crime hoax.


Corey Pein, a leftist freelance journalist colleague was interviewed and had this to say about Bivins:

"Since I expect to get asked about this: Mike and I shared a byline once on a story about rising right-wing extremism in Portland, but we reported and filed entirely separately and the story was stitched together later in editing. I really can't speak to his life, or this event."

I have a feeling Mr. Pein knows more about Bivins than he is letting on, he's just playing dumb to keep from acknowledging that this is yet another staged hoax. Of course, if you asked him, he would undoubtedly say something like: This is just an anomaly, the epidemic of hate crimes is real.

No, he's a liar, there is no wave of hate crimes, unless you count black on White violence, which happens every day.

Spinal Tap is one of the great parody movies of all time, never gets old. It is an amusing bit here with Billy Crystal, he was very funny as a comic actor, I remember his big break in Soap back in the 70's and he was very good in it. Then Harry Met Sally, among others, showed he had real talent on the big screen. His standup, not so much. I remember thinking it was odd that an established actor would go the standup route, seemed like a step backward for a guy already getting good paying acting gigs. But his standup just wasn't funny, I never laughed when I saw him perform which made it seem even weirder. If he hadn't already made a name in acting I can't believe anybody would have paid to see him do his comedy on stage. He was kind of like a poor man's Jerry Seinfeld, and I never thought Seinfeld was all that funny. Doesn't help that Crystal is another Woke Hollyweird liberal. Here he is doing a gig and playing up his Jewishness (unfunnily...is that a word?) at some Jewish function taking shots at Roseanne and Trump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rncsy4r5cHE

I tried watching Dr. Who after Jodi Whitaker was cast, but gave up partway through the season. As often is the case, when an actor, or actress, is chosen for a role for political reasons, it's not the best choice for the role. Whitaker was bland and uninteresting, she didn't have the charisma to play a role like that. The writers of the show seemed to be affected also, the scripts seemed tired and uninspired.
