"Suspect in fatal NYC subway shooting Andrew Abdullah surrenders to police"

Gee, one has to wonder what could possibly motivate this mook to think he might perhaps get more 'favorable treatment' if he could surrender to (NOI) 'Mayor' Adams himself?
Similarly, why would this killer's 'pastor' roll-up on the Pct (to 'assist in the negotiations') in a Rolls Royce?
Perhaps by this act concurring that this assassination was indeed a 'righteous' one?

'The career criminal sought in the random (sic) subway shooting death of Goldman Sachs employee Daniel Enriquez last weekend turned himself in to cops on Tuesday — after negotiations at a Chinatown stationhouse involving a reverend who showed up in a Rolls-Royce.  Andrew Abdullah, 25, had demanded that he be allowed to surrender to Mayor Eric Adams in the Sunday morning slaying but, in the end, surrendered after talks at the 5th Precinct with between (sic) an attorney and a Brooklyn bishop (sic) sources said.'

The suspect's name could have come out of Tom Wolfe's The Bonfire of the Vanities.

The bishop. Rolls Royce. The pastor. As my uncle the career Chicago cop would have said: "they are all ministers, professors, deacons, pastors, etc." All of them.
