Ultimately the girl admitted something had happened with Robles, but said it wasn’t forced.
A number of similar incidents got significant media attention in the last few years because in those cases 1) the teacher was female and the student male, and 2) the female teachers were relatively attractive, even 'hot' in a few cases.
It would be interesting to compare the judicial outcomes when the teacher is female vs when the teacher is male -- my vague recollection is that the female teachers were treated far less harshly -- this guy got 20 years.
