By Nicholas Stix My headline is an English translation of the copspeak of “person of interest.”
Brian Laundrie has lawyered up, which reeks of guilt. Based on an incident that involved law enforcement during their trip (see linked dm story), look for him to say that she went psycho, and he killed her in self-defense.
(Yes, I know. Sometimes refusing to cooperate with the police is the only reasonable thing to do, but this guy's lover is missing, and he shows no interest in finding her.)

Of course this is a natural assumption give the circumstances: her very fishy/strange disappearance, and his even stranger/very suspicious behavior.
But it's also true that it's wise not to talk to cops without a lawyer present, perhaps also to wait until you are arrested or subpoenaed (depending on the advice of the lawyer) -- there is a very popular video on YouTube about this.
