He is in the mental ward with serious mental issues? Cops can't talk to him then. That works most of the time.
A side note is that coverage of this death shows the incompetence of the fake news media. Repeatedly the dumb reporters mix up national park and national forest--they are two separate things. The body was allegedly found in a dispersed camping area of a national forest--national parks generally do not allow dispersed camping--you have to park in a designated campground. As dispersed campers in our RV, we look for BLM land or national forests because they generally allow dispersed camping. But reporters are too ignorant and lazy to get this straight and keep talking about her body in a national park.
