Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3:45:00 P.M. EDT The CIA has long been leftist. I remember reading E. Howard Hunt’s book about the botched Bay of Pigs invasion, Give Us This Day. Hunt says CIA people told him that even if Castro were de-feated, Cuba wouldn’t go back—it would be leftist.
What can you expect when they recruit members from brain-dead, brainwashed Ivy League school graduates? If I were in charge, I would recruit them from the Heartland. But I think the only answer to secure freedom is to abolish the CIA and the FBI—they are too corrupt to save.
N.S.: Agreed, at least as far as the CIA is concerned. We’re wasting billions of dollars on 16 different intelligence agencies.
The FBI is every bit as corrupt, but I don’t know what the solution is. We have to have a national police agency.

I think the answer is to abolish the FBI and start over from scratch. It must be designed with more accountability. There needs to be a way to hold their feet to the fire when they take sides in political fights, let favored people get away with anything (like Hunter Biden) but come after those not favored by the political establishment. I think it is a mistake to have all the federal bureaucrats in Washington DC. Spread them out--make collusion more difficult. Many "go native" when they arrive in DC--they want to be on the inside and get invited to the best parties. If one agency was in Kansas and another in Indiana, etc. maybe there would be less corruption and maybe it would be easier to uncover with long distance communication and traveling necessary to conspire. As it is, Washington is a nest of vipers--we need a big stick inserted into the mess to stir them up and start tossing the snakes far away. Too bad Trump was so bad at making good picks--few of his appointees were the kind of outsiders with the courage and integrity to disrupt the political establishment.
I don't know the answer either.It's like telling Hollywood to stop being liberal.

CIA had proposed as did State department to do that very thing a long time. ago. Recruit from the Heartland. The non Ivy League schools. Guess it never worked out.
