Yes,the chaos must increase before the election.Will "something" happen at the Dem convention next week? Very possible(and then blame MAGA people).

Dems want to even up the sympathy vote that Trump received for his courageous stand after being shot. The only way to do that,is to put Harris in a dangerous situation(bomb scare?)

It's been too quiet for a couple weeks.

"Checks and balances", anyone? A decent Republican House would slam the brakes on all that nonsense - Trump, Navarro, Bannon, Flynn, the J6 prisoners - and say absolutely nothing gets passed, until we get this fixed it's the mother of all shutdowns (and NO back pay for federal employees for this vacation). But they wimped out. Business as usual. DOJ and DC courts and jails will be fully funded in the September spending sham. Also disappointed that the long-ago truckers' idea of boycotting New York gigs didn't take root.
