more people of color are running for congress in mostly white districts and winning

More people of color are running for Congress in mostly white districts and winning, experts say (aol.com)

People are moving on from the media hype about color. The media wants it to continue so they can use the "r-word" 24/7.

But society, for the most part, has such divisive racial issues in the rearview mirror.

N.S.: In the rearview mirror? Race is smashing through Whites' windshields! Heck, I use the "r-word" 24/7.

I had no idea until two weeks ago,a fat, ugly nigro was running AS A REPUBLICAN in the primary 5th district House race against RINO Peter Meijer.

The Meijer ad says,"John Gibbs(the nig)is TOO conservative for West Michigan."

OR Meijer isn't conservative enough!

I don't care if Gibbs said,"Round up all the blacks(except for him of course)and send them back to Africa."

Gibbs won't win here(I don't think.)Meijer is lousy as well,but White.

I've been through this with these "gender ambiguous" or "of color" candidates with people I know. It's always the same, they give me these vacant eyed "Well, I think such and such queer or of color candidate has interesting ideas and will "shake things up" blah blah...
It was useless to argue ideological points with them because they really know nothing at all so I went to the pocketbook. I started asking them what they think these left wing politicians are going to do for White middle class people financially. Then I list their talking points which do nothing for them and explain that there will be a cost for all this and they expect you, as middle class White people to pay. They try to say: No, they're going to tax the rich and the corporations, not us!
Then I ask them to tell me one left wing candidates that has ever succeeded in wringing money out of the "rich", and of course, they can't tell me one.
Then I tell them that these left wing politicians think that you as middle class people are rich and privileged (it's in their rhetoric), and since you don't have high priced tax lawyers you will end up paying for their "progressive" agendas.
It's bad enough with gas prices, inflation and taxes in general but to willingly elect politicos that will squeeze us even more and hand over that money to illegals, minorities and homeless is insane.
At times, I actually get a flicker of acknowledgement when I argue that way.

That woman looks white. Says Hispanic and American Indian. But could pass for white. Winning as having seven persons in the primary and she just got more votes than all the others. That is how Obama won his primary for Senator. Five persons in the primary and he just got more votes than any of the other because all the colored voted for him.

TUDOR DIXON'S ATTRACTIVE LOOKS CARRY HER TO GOP GOVERNOR'S NOMINATION IN MICHIGAN

GRA:She's about an 8--which in politics,is a 20.

(cnbc)GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Tudor Dixon has won Michigan's Republican nomination for governor, NBC News projects, emerging from one of the year's most turbulent primaries in a state where the general election will have major implications for the next presidential race.

The former conservative media personality, who secured an endorsement last week from former President Donald Trump, will face Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who was renominated without opposition Tuesday.

Early results placed Dixon ahead of four rivals, including chiropractor Garrett Soldano; Kevin Rinke, a former Detroit-area car dealer who loaned $10 million to his campaign; and Ryan Kelley, a real estate broker and right-wing activist who was briefly a front-runner after his arrest on misdemeanor charges of being involved in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Dixon's win is in part a testament to the power of the DeVos family, kingmakers in Michigan politics who endorsed her and helped bankroll an aligned super PAC.

(GRA:Wrong. When you have 4 middle aged White guys--then a good looking woman running--guess who's going to win?)

And her victory gives Trump another ally within striking distance of a governorship and the authority to certify election results.

Trump continues to falsely claim that a second term was stolen from him in 2020 and is teasing another run in 2024. At debates, Dixon answered affirmatively when asked if she believed Trump won Michigan, which went narrowly to President Joe Biden. She also has embraced disproven theories that fraud and untoward efforts by Democratic officeholders tipped the election to Biden.

But Dixon's rhetoric has been less consistent and less forceful than claims echoed by other Trump allies in Michigan and across the country. In the closing days of the race, her opponents questioned her loyalty to the former president, seizing on a "Fox News Sunday" interview in which Dixon dodged when asked if she believed the 2020 election was stolen.

GRA:I posted all the other crap cnbc wrote:"disproven this","falsely claim that",just to show how lousy the reporting is: report the news--and let the people figure it out.

THAT NIG,GIBBS,LEADS WHITEY MEIJER IN CONGRESSIONAL RACE FOR GRAND RAPIDS AREA

GRA:As the main story explained about blacks winning in White areas.
(Detroit news)
Grand Rapids — John Gibbs, the Trump-endorsed negro challenger to U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer, is leading in early results of west Michigan's 3rd Congressional District race.

A political appointee in former President Donald Trump's Housing and Urban Development agency, Gibbs has pitched himself as an ultra-conservative replacement for incumbent Meijer of Grand Rapids Township, who was one of 10 House Republicans to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot.

Gibbs had about 53% of the votes to Meijer's 47% with 11.3% of precincts reporting.

If Gibbs prevails, he will face a general election in a district President Joe Biden won in 2020 and that has been identified as one of the few districts Democrats may be capable of flipping in a tough election year.

The contest between Meijer and Gibbs has garnered national attention as the Republican Party continues to grapple with cleavages between traditional conservatives and Trump loyalists. If he loses, Meijer will be the sixth of the 10 House Republicans who voted for impeachment to leave at the end of his term. Two others face primaries Tuesday.

Trump endorsed Gibbs but notably did not come to Michigan to campaign for him in the final days of campaign, despite Gibbs struggling with fundraising and Meijer and allies pouring millions into opposing him.

GRA:I did not vote for Gibbs.

Gibbs DID win. Unbelievable.I never heard of him until 2 weeks ago.He now faces a White, female Democrat in November.Supposedly,Meijer's loss is blamed on his vote to impeach Trump--as other RINOs who did the same, have suffered the same fate.

Meijer was a phony,no doubt, but Gibbs will never get my vote.
