Viktor Orban Attermpts to Use History to Teach Anti-Pope Francis a Lesson about Mass Immigration

(ZH) Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán asked Pope Francis not to let Christianity “perish” as he gave him a gift that challenged the Supreme Pontiff’s advocacy for mass immigration.

“At the meeting on Sunday, according to state media, Orban even handed the Pope a provocative gift: A copy of a letter from a 13th-century Hungarian king to then-Pope Innocent IV, asking for Rome’s help to defeat an onslaught of foreign invaders — an apparent reference to migrants in the 21st century,” reports CBS News.

Balazs Orban, Deputy Minister for the Prime Minister’s Office described the historical importance of the letter on Twitter.

“PM Orbán met Pope Francis and presented a letter that King Béla IV wrote for Pope Innocent IV in 1250,” he wrote. “The King warned of the looming threat of the Tatar invasion and called for the unity of Europe. He was ignored. 35 yrs later HU fended off the Tatars with great bloodshed.”

However, Pope Francis is unlikely to change his mind and this was emphasized when he told a crowd in Budapest that Hungarians should “extend their arms to everyone,” referring to migrants and refugees.

The Pope has repeatedly performed public relations stunts to advocate for mass migration from non-Christian countries into the west, including infamously when he met with the Rwandan refugee who later went on to kill a French priest and burn down a cathedral.

As we highlighted earlier this month, Orbán told a forum of leaders in Slovenia that “migration must be stopped” in order to preserve Europe’s cultural heritage.

Just in---this clip of Norm MacDonald on the "Afterlife Tonight Show":

"You know why they call this Francis guy,the anti-Pope,don't ya,Johnny?Cuz he's the OPPOSITE of what an authentic Pope would act like.A real Pope would be for improving each country in their own borders--not for pushing everyone from crap countries into invading all the other ones and turning them into sh*t too.

"Anti-vaxxer.A person who's an anti-vaxxer--like me --is against having some evil formula forced into your body by the government.Simple enough.

"Antifa--what's that mean? The basic definition of "antifa" is,you're against "fa"--right?Anti-fa.

"Fa".What the hell is THAT?Well, you have to check out that old song,Do,re,mi--FA--a long, long way to run! They're against long distance marathons,Johnny--come on now, this isn't rocket science.Stupidest reason to form an anarchist, political group I'VE ever heard of."

Hungary a small nation with only 4 million folks. Will be overwhelmed by even a friendly influx of illegals, migrants, etc. The Hungarian just wants Hungary to remain Hungarian. Hard to understand for some folks.

Where's 'separation of church and state' when you need it?
