The Brooklyn Center Shooting of Daunte Wright: Racial Double Standards in the Treatment of Policemen

[Re: “Whitey Must Go: In Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, White Police Chief Resigns, Racist black Mayor Stays.”]

David: Note how fast the name of the police officer came out in contrast to the capitol officer who shot Ashli Babbitt. The latter STILL is unidentified.

N.S.: Similarly, when hispanic Madera police officer Marcie Noriega shot prisoner Everardo Torres dead in 2003, and claimed she’d thought she pulled her Taser, she was not so much as reprimanded. But when White BART Officer Johannes Mesehrle shot suspect Oscar Grant dead in 2011 while reaching for his Taser, Mesehrle was arrested, charged with Murder Two and Involuntary Manslaughter, convicted of the latter charge, and did one year in prison.

Internet sources have identified the murderer of Ashli Babbitt as Capitol Police Lt. David Bailey. The Capitol Police, however, have refused to ID Babbitt’s killer.

Police officer already indicted. Police chief gone too. And the city manager [a colored man] he bee'z gone too. The city manager said everyone would get due process. Such a quaint idea. And for that he was fired.

Serendipity strikes again. The DC U.S. Attorney made the "official" announcement today of "no charges" against the nameless capitol hill cop who killed Ashli Babbitt.

Meanwhile, with lightning speed, a manslaughter charge has already been filed against the female cop in Brooklyn Center.

Double standards? Actually it's a single standard of a kind.
