Federal government buildings in D.C. were hardened years ago.
More like a Reichstag fire.
Drove across 14th Street Bridge and up through the Palisades area in far Northwest corner of D.C. after picking up [deleted]. But first we drove around all the federal buildings.
Federal agencies like USAID and DHS had cyclone fencing around the periphery of the buildings. Polycarbonate hemispheres cloaking closed circuit cameras hung from the eaves of the buildings. Razor wire topped the cyclone fencing. Out of service D.C. cop cars guarded the buildings.
This was before Trump was elected.
So, impenetrable security guarding federal buildings well over 5 years ago.
