Breaking News Alert: Multiple People Shot in Indianapolis at a Fedex Facility

(ZH)Indianapolis News WISH-TV reports Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) received reports of an active shooter around 11:10 pm local time Thursday at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis.

The incident was reported at the FedEx facility in the 8900 block of Mirabel Road in Indianapolis, near Indianapolis International Airport.

Dispatchers declared a “mass casualty, Level 1,” which means the incident involved less than ten surviving victims.

IMPD has yet to release information on how many people were shot or their conditions. There’s also no information if the shooter is in custody.

Here’s the IMPD scanner audio of shots fired at the FedEx facility. The dispatcher said at least ten shots were fired from the entrance or inside the facility. One caller (from inside the facility’s control room) told dispatchers she had no visual on the suspect [sic] but heard the shots.

N>S.: These days, something like this is typically the work of a disgruntled black worker who just got fired.

JOGGERS(10% OF THE POPULATION) REALLY OUTDOING THEMSELVES IN INDY

GRA:The census says 84% of the residents are White, around 10% black.

(AP)Indianapolis, like several other cities across the United States, saw an increase in criminal homicides in 2020, a year already racked with death caused by the pandemic.

There were 215 criminal homicides in the city, the most recorded in a single year, according to an analysis of Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department data by The Indianapolis Star. There were also another 30 noncriminal homicides, usually episodes where the authorities considered a killing justified, such as in self-defense.

The city’s previous record was 159 criminal homicide cases in 2018, according to The Associated Press. The police investigated 154 criminal homicides in 2019(no pandemic those years.)

GRA:These are incredible numbers, considering the demographics.Grand Rapids,as a comparison, with a population of 200,000,had 35 homicides in 2020--a record, but Indianapolis, with a population of 850,000--racked up 215 murders,percentage-wise,a monster number of killings. The blacks in Indy really out performed last year and we are proud to present the "Black Thug City Award" to Indianapolis, for murder numbers that outpaced their expectations by a wide margin.
Congratulations.
