“the official protest had moved away from park 578 by just after 4:30 p.m., but a faction stayed behind and broke through the fence at Washington boulevard and Wolcott avenue. this group made it through the first line of the perimeter, and was trying to make it through the second fence—which could allow them access to the united center.

“‘they were heard chanting, ‘whose streets? our streets!

“just after Tara Molina was finishing up a live shot for cbs news chicago, protesters began lining up behind her and began shaking the security fences. the barrier came down and started crawling through. once people started crossing, police quickly moved in—and the tone of the protest [sic] changed dramatically.

[Who “started crawling through”? The use of the passive voice is always a sign of treachery.]

“protesters surrounded cbs news chicago cameras—trying to block them using their signs, as they were unhappy with their actions being captured on video.

“officers with gas masks and riot gear then moved in. they appeared to be preparing to intervene as they loaded what appeared to be pepper balls—which are used to disperse crowds.

cbs news chicago’s security detail reported the people who breached the security fence were being detained.

[N.S.: Note that the rioters were so scary that the terrified, alleged reporters had fled, and left it to their body guards to do the reporting!]

“it appeared the first breach had been secured by just after 5 p.m., but another fence was taken down soon afterward.

“police supt. Larry Snelling was personally at the scene.”

“(Breitbart) anti-Israel protesters crashed the democratic national convention (dnc) welcome party on sunday night, and one protester rushed the stage to deliver a ‘free palestine’ message.

“‘150,000 people are dead,’ the masked woman could be heard yelling. ‘you are furthering a genocide. and the Harris-Biden administration keeps on funding it.

“event organizers then ushered her off the stage.

“Hatem Abudayyeh, spokesperson for the pro-palestinian coalition, told reporters that ‘tens of thousands’ of people will be marching in the street.

“‘almost 270 organizations from across the U.S. have joined the coalition to march on the dnc,” Abudayyeh said. ‘tens of thousands [of people] will be out on the streets starting tomorrow, august 19 at noon, right here at union park to say, “stop the genocide now, end U.S. aid to Israel and free palestine.’”
