“(zh) facebook has nuked the account of famed evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins after he said that genetically male boxers should not be allowed to fight women in the olympics.
“on saturday morning, Dawkins posted on x about the shocking censorship – saying that there was no reason given for the sudden removal of his account.
“my entire @facebook account has been deleted, seemingly (no reason given) because I tweeted that genetically male boxers such as Imane Khalif (xy undisputed) should not fight women in olympics. of course, my opinion is open to civilised argument. but outright censorship?”
GRA: facebook should be censored by all its users and put out of business for its stupidity—drop Facebook.
(I never joined it.)

N.S.: I joined facebook circa 2010, but after a couple of years, they blocked me, and demanded I fax them my passport, which constituted invasion of privacy, so I said, the hell with it.

Dawkins might get his account back, though only because of the bad publicity FB will get due to him having celebrity status. Regular people who can't embarrass FB by shining a light on their absurd 1984ish thought control policies have no recourse. I've never gotten a ban reversed and never will, despite never having broken any their precious rules, it was always purely ideological. But who cares? I'm nobody so the behind the scenes wokesters who banned me got away with it, as they have with countless millions of others.
I banned THEM. Never joined.
What the hell are they good for?
FB is worthless to society,we got along fine without them--better.
