Good one. I also like Glengarry Glen Ross. It had a great line about Cadillac's and steak knives.

I'd like to have seen Gregory Peck in "The Walgreen Gunfighter"--playing a security guard at one of their San Francisco stores in 2023.

Here's a clip:
(Jimmy Ringo, driving to work--talking to himself in his car.)

"Good God,I thought World War 2 was dangerous--and it WAS--but punching a time clock at Walgreens is a different kind of hell. But Peggy and I need the money. She works here too since she was assaulted at the high school she used to teach at."

(Ringo pulls into the parking lot, gets out and starts walking to the store entrance)

"What the hell happened to this country? You can't go anywhere without crime taking place--much of it violent--mostly by the nig..."

"You're 30 seconds late,White man,"
says the black store clerk.

"So am I fired? If not,let me go punch in without hearing another word."

"Well,we don't fire security guards--they all quit or get ki.."

"I said QUIET--or I WILL quit."

"Sorry,Mr.Ringo,we can't have the fastest shooting security guard quit because of me."

(She twists an imaginary key on her mouth to lock it).

(Ringo walks to the back where the time clock is at,but sees two blacks stuffing merchandise in their jackets)

"Put it back--NOW--and be out of the store before I punch in..."

"Damn, this store used to be easy before that White guy Jimmy Ringo showed up.Now you have to bring a gun and try to outduel him.Let's go Jacquarious."

End of the clip.
