UPDATE: 3 arrests made in deadly shooting of 17-year-old in north amarillo - from amarillo globe-news
two men, ages 18 and 19, and a 14-year-old girl were arrested and are facing murder charges in the shooting death of a 17-year-old.

N.S.: It sounds like a classic, northern triangle murder. The girl ("gang associate") entices the mark into going with her to a secluded place, for easy sex, where the boys (gang members) kill him.

That is what coyotes do--the female lures a dog to follow her then he is ambushed, killed, and eaten by the rest of the pack. Only difference is these Amarillo animals probably didn't eat their victims.
Good news would have been the 17 year old killed the other three(self defense).

Adults killing a minor too. That should be a death penalty case.
The first suspect has been identified as Kezabien Mayes, an 18-year-old man. The second suspect has been identified as Javonne Mayes, a 19-year-old man. The third suspect is a female juvenile, 14, and she also faces charges of engaging in criminal activity and was booked into the Youth Center of the High Plains.
Adam Jeremiah Maes, 17, was found at that location suffering from a gunshot wound. Maes was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
