I was hit by a drunk Mex about 15 years ago---he ran a red light and BOOM,hasta la vista to my car.We went to court,he had no insurance of course,still had a license--which was taken away.
After court,he was seen driving away by the prosecutor,who shrugged her shoulders.
Law enforcement in America.
