the media's self-awareness crisis

I think their lack of self-awareness is glaring. what to attribute it to? narcissism? General smugness?  Hive "mind"?

THE REINCARNATED,ANDY ROONEY DROPS BY TO COMMENT ON CURRENT EVENTS

Is it just my imagination or are all women "journalists",whose first name happens to be "Margaret"--tend to be ridiculous, over the top, liberal pieces of excrement?

Sullivan,Carlson,Brennan--I guess so.

At least with Brennan,I can watch her show,"Face(the Commie)Nation"--with the sound muted--and enjoy the view,to some extent, but why have a TV set at all,if you can't listen to it too?And that's the argument I have with myself during 99% of the TV shows I turn on now--when I sneak into the house--after my farm family goes to sleep at 10pm.

A while back,I warned everyone how bad a President Joe Biden would be--and he hasn't disappointed--except those of us who thought he'd be gone by now--via the 25th amendment.

Watching Biden speak these days--at the rare meetings he has with his adoring press--is like watching the robot,on the old "Lost in Space" series, attempt to talk after his power pack got pulled.

Now when properly powered, the robot had lights on its chassis--that used to blink fairly regularly--to show us that it was functioning--which is more than I can say for Biden's glassy, unblinking eyes.Since he took Paxlovid for coronavirus, the guy looks like he's auditioning for a job at Madame Tussaud's wax museum.

I was tempted to talk about the Mar-a-Lago raid, the newly approved Pfizer and Moderna vaxxes, black crime--exploding in our cities to new levels--but I'm only a chicken--reincarnated,it's true, but I have other tasks I need to complete--which involves fertilization of a few thousand eggs.

As Edward R.Murrow told me the other day,in the hen house,"an Irishman's work is never done."

Aye,my matey,aye.

I'm Andy Rooney.

"'My plans,' she writes, 'include teaching at Duke University and publishing a book this fall'"

OH, the students at Duke are going to be so lucky. Is journalism a subject that you can major in and have repute? Hardly STEM.
