N.S.: A young friend of mine is convinced that we live in a pedocracy, i.e., that the ruling elite are all pedophiles. He misuses the word "pedophile" in the way pervasive nowadays, to refer to adults having sex with underaged kids. I used to wave off such claims, but increasingly I find that harder and harder to do.
