KNOXVILLE HORROR SENTENCING HEARING!

Today, Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Eric Boyd received (https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/crime/2019/09/18/eric-boyd-sentenced-life-prison-christian-newsom-murders/23452240017) two life sentences back to back in the January 2007 torture-murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

Judge Bob McGee added another 90 years for "related, underlying crimes, including especially aggravated kidnapping, robbery, and rape."

The victims' loved ones gave impact statements. Eric Boyd smiled and said "I'm not guilty.

"Boyd was a suspect from the start but insisted he wasn't anywhere near Washington Ridge Apartments--where the kidnapping took place--or Chipman Street when the crimes occurred."

Federal prosecutors convicted Boyd in 2008 for hiding "ringleader" Lemaricus Davidson after the killings. They actually wanted to make a murder case against Boyd, trying the whole thing in federal court as a carjack-murder which could be done under federal guidelines.

However, the local Knox County District Attorney General took priority. The state prosecutors opted not to file a case against Boyd at the time.

Last year, George Thomas, a previously convicted participant in the crimes agreed to testify to Boyd's presence at the crime scene in return for a 50-year sentence. State prosecutors then indicted Boyd for his role.

Now, let's see a major TV documentary on The Knoxville Horror.
