Are 18-35ers a Lost Generation, or Will a Good National Crisis Cause the Scales ot Fall from Their Eyes?

Michael Snyder, who is basically an unknown to me, wrote this about the direction of our country. He lists 22 items, some more compelling than others, to prove the USA is going down the liberal toilet.

That may all be true, but I believe this generation of people 18-35 have never seen economic hardship along the lines of a Great Depression or a catastrophic war like WW II or even a Vietnam. Imho, their liberalism would melt away in a very short time, if either type of event were to occur (I'm not rooting for either, but history says it's at least possible). Family members going off to war to die, having to pinch pennies, dumping video games in favor of food, becoming more family oriented--wanting to have kids (if you're white). The good life promotes liberalism, hardship promotes conservatism.

In my own case,I was a union person where I worked, and was fairly liberal for most of my life. What turned it around for me was witnessing my side of the city become overrun with blacks and Mexicans, starting 10-15 years ago. That shook the "good life" I had enjoyed--I'm now a hardcore conservative. If it can happen to me--by circumstance--believe me, it can happen to others as well.

I've long said that Americans haven't had their freedom threatened for so long that they don't appreciate the value of that freedom. Worse yet, they've been indoctrinated to hate their own country!

Don't put away your will to fight just yet, old farts of America. We may just need to lead the charge until the "18-35'ers" get their heads out of their asses...

I was a liberal too most of my life, as a youngster I was such an idealist about race but personal interactions with blacks gave me a dose of reality, then watching a growing population of Muslims and other foreigners in my home city played a part. Made me a bit of a pariah amongst family and friends though, for the most part they hang onto their naïve beliefs with every fiber of their beings.

I'm old enough to remember the Vietnam war but will say it wasn't so much that a war was going on, the US has been militarily involved in numerous conflicts since then, but there is no draft. What that generation has not experienced is legally enforced military conscription, which is what fueled the 60's & 70's anti war protests. When the draft ended, anti war activism essentially collapsed, people didn't care nearly as much about war as long as they weren't being compelled to fight.

There is a new struggle, but it's an insidious one. It's not a clearly defined war where young men are compelled to fight and die but one in which a nouveau rich class has arisen that wants to engineer demographic & cultural change that will radically impact the lives of subsequent generations. Current migration rates & native birth patterns mean that in 60 or 70 yrs. the US will become a majority Muslim, black brown nation, a change that means our children & grandchildren will be living in a much different country than it is now. But the de education and dumbing down of people in this country programs people to not be forward thinking. They don't perceive that they are locked in a struggle for their children's future.

The economy is based on people buying crap they don't need, and going into debt doing so. With this in mind, it behooves the MSM to promote people staying stupid forever. Which means that National Security is not secure. All the drones in the world are useless without the will to exist. The winner of the 21st century will be the culture that refuses to have the family structure splintered to server Mammon. Simple as that

ELECTION RESULTS--TWO TRUMP ENDORSEES WIN IN N,C.
GRA:These two races were touted on NNN as an indicator--by Holt--that Trump was losing his popularity with voters.
"We're watching and some polls show Trump's candidate could lose the special election tonight. If the polls are right,it would reveal how vulnerable Trump would be in 2020..."
Holt showed a woman blathering,"I can't vote against Trump yet,but I'll vote against who he endorsed."

(Breitbart)Republican Dan Bishop defeated Democrat Dan McCready in a close special election in North Carolina’s ninth congressional district Tuesday night.
With 88 percent of precincts reporting as of 10:00 p.m eastern time, Bishop had a narrow 2,655 vote lead over McCready. Bishop had 50.6 percent (86,775 votes) to McCready’s 48.8 percent (86,120).
GRA:Another race was a blowout in the second district, with the Republican winning by double digits over the Democrat.
Maybe MSNBC will shut up for a day?And Rob Reiner and Cher and Michael Moore and...
