new, dusky, little mermaid receives negative reaction

Maybe the next one will be transgender.

N.S.: That can't be idle speculation--disney is capable of doing just that.

"'I'm SO proud of you and your beautiful performance': Original little mermaid Jodi Benson publicly backs disney's live-action star Halle Bailey [not Berry, though surely named after Berry] after trailer for new movie got 1.5 MILLION dislikes on youtube amid racist backlash"

• Jodi, who voiced Ariel in disney's 1989 the little mermaid cartoon, has backed live-action actress Halle after she was met with a bitter wave of racist backlash
• the original star of the little mermaid came to the defense of the live-action actress just days after the official trailer received over one million dislikes
• Jodi, 60, backed Halle, 22, in an Instagram Story post and shared that she was 'so proud' of the actress
• This isn't the first time the star who voiced Ariel sent her love to Halle, as she previously defended her when it was revealed who'd be playing Ariel
• The 22-year-old told PEOPLE she is focusing on the support she is receiving from children, who have been touched by seeing a princess who looks like them

"Much of the online attacks have been tinged with racism, as Halle Bailey is a black woman and Ariel, a fictional, animated character, appears to be white in the original 1989 film"

"Appears to be White"?! But they don't say that black animated characters "appear to be black." Who is editing the dm, Ta-Nehisi Coates?

The dm claims, as well, that youtube disabled the down-vote function for the picture's trailer, after it got 1.5 million down votes, but that's a lie. yt disabled the down-vote counter years ago.

The dm operative who produced this "thing" is Kelsi Karruli. Remember that name (remember, as well, Melissa Koenig)! I'd comment about her at the "thing" itself, but the dm gauleiter permablocked me years ago. I strongly suspect that the splc or adl has produced and updates a Whitelist which it sends around to media outlets, left and right. Thus, Lachlan Murdoch's newscorp gauleiter also Whitelisted me a few years ago at fox news and the new york post.

"The part where; Caribbeans have folktales about mermaids that go back centuries & yet people are upset that disney is being inclusive by casting actors for their abilities vs color …( perhaps mermaids come in every shade just like humans)…. Her voice reminds me so much of the original Ariel! I can’t wait to watch it!"

@Kysha Micaela You pathetic bot-human. While the critics show their originality by posting an endless variety of movie quotes mocking this "thing" for racistly ripping off the original, all you can do is repeatedly post the same irrelevancy. This picture was never based on any caribbean folktale, so why do you keep saying that? Why do you hate White people? Why do you promote the White genocide project?

OH, is that all we have to worry about? The Little Mermaid? If that is all we have worry about we are fine then.

I'd be more upset if they made her a lesbian...though maybe I shouldn't be giving them any ideas here. The alphabeters would love it though, they've already gotten Disney and others to introduce a number of gay, usually young female lesbian, characters.
As for the "hate", there are 100's of millions of people online and even if a one, one hundredth of a percentile post something negative, they will claim it's a "wave of hate", when in truth, it's just a miniscule number of people. Plus, those so called "haters" may very well be black hoaxers trying to create the impression there are anti black Ariel haters out there. Then Disney uses the controversy to promote the movie.
Check out how they push black girls into being racist at a young age: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVAkzXp4xNU
