Are cops going to be in medieval armor as they do this door to door operation?They'd better be.
Also,I always said,if any police department went house to house,apartment to apartment looking for thugs on the lam--at least half the residences would have minorities with outstanding warrants who could be picked up.
In otherwords--THOUSANDS.

Guns, warrants, drugs, parole violations. You name it and you will find it. I guess NYC you have to be registered if you are law abiding and own a gun? So most negro will be exempt then.
