Judging by the coverage of local TV,"Let's all welcome our Afghan rapefugees--I mean--refugees to West Michigan with a warm feeling of brotherhood"--was the theme.
A full propaganda attack on anyone,who was against the Afghans being allowed into your neighborhood.
In fact,no one was allowed to demur against their presence--just as no one on TV is allowed to oppose the vaxx.
There's an old "Three Stooges" short where they played refugees,taken in by the Hoi Polloi.Grown men pretending to be boys--as part of a scam of some sort.The problem was,they WERE grown men,dressed in little boy outfits,who started hitting on the rich ladies at a party that was given by their benefactors.
Curley had a cold,thought he was putting menthalatum on his chest,but it was limburger cheese spread.As he sat down next to one of the women(actually on her lap) who wanted to meet one of "the little refugees",she got a whiff of him and promptly asked him to "see other guests."
He said,"No,I like it here."
So she stuck a long pin in his backside to send him flying.
I believe a pie fight ensued a little later.
The Afghan refugees will not be that entertaining--not even close.
