Numerous readers have alerted me to a problem reading and posting comments. I apologize for that, and I thank you for reaching out to me.
I checked on the problem, and even I had it. (One can never assume that readers and blog proprietors will see the same thing on the screen.)
Well, I went to google/blogger “Help,” and fooled around a little, following the tips there. Tip #1 was worthless, but after trying tip #2, I can again see comments. Can you?
Please let me know, if you continue to have problems, at Add1dda@aol.com .
In case you can’t post comments, you may also send them to me at the above eddress, and I’ll manually post them.
Thanks in advance, and I again apologize for any inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Stix

For me it's not fixed -- seems to be a weird formatting problem somewhere on the blog.
When I load the blog/main/home page, the older post 'Texas National Guard Increasing Presence at Texas-Mexico Border' always appears to the right of the latest blog entry -- in this state, I cannot comment on any post -- I can only open the most recent post.
When I click on/open the post on the right, 'Texas National Guard Increasing Presence at Texas-Mexico Border', I can access all posts: they are listed in a column on the right, going down -- from there I can open and comment on all posts.

I've posted this before but here is a reminder: You can still comment by going to the blog archive on the right, just click on the article and then on Post Comment. It's not as easy as being able to do it on the top page but you can still do it.
