That was right here in Grand Rapids.Over the course of the last two weeks,a lot of discussion on local websites. There were reps from the "Dragsters" trying to counter the anti-"Dragster" commenters.
There's some discrepency about details, but it appeared that this dispute boiled to down to Meijer, who's running for the Amash seat, discovering that some rep from his building--without Meijer's knowledge--agreed to let these Downs Syndrome imports from England, perform there "in drag".When he found out,he cancelled out(he must have had that option).
He claimed the DS'ers were being "exploited" by promoters. The media went wild--accusing Meijer of discrimination against "disabled people"--trying to paint him as an ogre and forcing him to recant his decision (through non-stop media pressure). He never did.
I took it in another direction.I said,"Meijer has every right to decide who can use his building. If liberal colleges-that are public institutions by definition--can decide to ban conservatives from speaking on their campuses, then Meijer,as a private property owner, can do the same.
The DS'ers can find another venue--and they did."
My analysis was that Meijer was against drag performers--not so much the Downs Syndrome part of it.He claims to be a conservative and this was a way to show voters where he stood symbollically.
He's for normal entertainment--not bizarre entertainment.
Last night, the Downs Syndrome bunch received FULL sympathetic coverage of their opening night at the Wealthy theater--where they wound up agreeing to appear.Lib stations like WOODTV gave glowing reports of a "sold out crowd" on their opening night.
Protesters and counter-protesters were shown on the report.
The ACLU is now involved.
This story was simply about the liberal media trying to force someone to do things the way the media wanted it done--and nothing else.

MURDER UPDATE IN GRAND RAPIDS
GRA:One last night...one the past week
‘Unintended’ victim shot, killed in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who police say they suspect was an “unintended target” was shot and killed by an unknown assailant overnight on the city’s northeast side(mixed area).
Grand Rapids police say the incident happened in the 1000 block of Clancy Ave. NE at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The victim was rushed to the hospital where officers say he later died.
GRPD released limited information about the case and the circumstances surrounding the shooting but indicated that the victim was not believed to have been the intended target of the shooter.
A source with knowledge of the matter said that the victim is around 60 years old.
No suspect information was released.
This death marks the city’s 11th homicide of 2019 and comes at a time when Grand Rapids police report a spike in shootings and violent crime.
GRA:Earlier in the week,a white man was stabbed to death by someone in,what I believe is a predominantly Mexican neighborhood. As I Googled this,my local media had less info than a website that specializes in news on Jiu-Jitsu.
(Jiu-Jitsu Times).
In a truly heartbreaking story, the grappling community is fundraising this week after a young single father lost his life trying to help someone else. David Baker, age 37, died on September 3 after being stabbed in Wyoming(close suburb of GR) while breaking up a domestic dispute. His family, including two daughters under the age of 13 who train jiu-jitsu as well, and training partners are now seeking donations to assist with his unexpected burial fees.
Details are still emerging, but the Baker family told local news that David and a friend were hanging out when they heard screams for help coming from an escalating fight in the house next door. Baker and his companion rushed across the property line together to break up the altercation.
“He was always looking out for everybody else,” Joslin Goodrich, Baker’s niece, said.
Having stopped the original fight, Baker and his buddy were reportedly leaving the suspect’s yard to return home when an assailant stabbed both men. Baker’s wounds were fatal, and he was pronounced dead on the scene. His friend suffered “serious injuries,” but survived. Police have released very few details about the murder thus far, and declined to share the names of the “persons of interest” they are currently seeking. It does appear, however, that both Baker and his friend were responding to calls for help and working to disengage from the dispute, but were ultimately stabbed in the back for doing so.
On September 4, police shut down a neighborhood and surrounded the house where suspects were believed to be, but were not able to apprehend anyone at that time. The investigation is ongoing.
GRA:The new black police chief ,Eric Payne, has instituted a complete blanket of silence over these crimes, since he took over.No descriptions of the perps, details of the crimes --nothing.It's as if we have no police force at all anymore.

Quick update on last night's murder:It took place in the middle of a 100% black housing project that stretches for 5 or 6 blocks.Reports are that,"a large crowd gathered at 230am in a parking lot, when someone opened fire, killing the wrong person."
WOOD mentions that fact--like it matters one iota--that the shooter made a mistake in who he murdered. If he had shot the intended vic, would the killer have gotten kudos for that-on air? All ghetto activity btw.
