If Clinton wins the nomination, Trump can use Syria as a bludgeon against her. He could show crowds of Syrian rapefugees invading Europe and point out that these are HER invaders attacking Germany, Greece, Sweden and the what not. She also claims she is smart and experienced. Syria and Libya show her policy decisions result in chaos across the mideast. Why we supported France in taking out Kaddafi is another Great Mystery of the 21st century.

That would require Trump's coming to grips with the realities of the Libyan arms to Turkey to ISIS operation. Then laying it out for the voters. Trump is great on immigration and trade but I don't get that he would chase that particular rabbit. Her "We came. We saw. He died." stupidity would probably work just as well.

I read one fellow who thought that Gaddafi's threat to organize an African currency bloc alarmed the French. Otherwise, the French decision is inexplicable as you say. It opened the floodgates of immigration and would seem to have been an attack contrary to France's interest. It's not like they Gaddafi's oil was somehow denied to them. Hollande and the ruling class there don't, however, care about stopping immigration. It is to laugh. Gallia Watch has an article now on the legislative changes they've made that make it impossible to deport anyone. Adieu, mes amis.

That's a pretty damning point on the Saudi-CIA Syrian financing end run around Congress. Shades of Iran-Contra but there appears to be little interest in THAT.
