So sad. Just like with Tessa Majors murder. It was three young black males. and they only gave one of them 18 months. The sickening aspect of this is that Nicholas Stixx is vilified and that black murderers are enabled.

I get so tired of hearing about the conditions at Rikers Island. Don't attack and rob people, don't act like scum to people, don't threaten people and you won't wind up in Rikers Island. A good portion of the older deranged black homeless males were once young violent criminals like these three. I didn't believe in it before but after seeing these heinous crimes directed at white people, I would vote for the death penalty to be reinstated.

Trying to find what is the status of guilty over twenty years after the crime. It would not surprise me if they are out now.

No -- they were all sentenced to life (effectively, the female to 124 years).

The three convicted are still imprisoned in NC -- you can look them up here --> link

Here is the inmate record for Joseph Jones, he was the youngest (born 1984; the killing happened in 1998):
