>Save Baby Boy's Life

I don't know, maybe it is possible to save someone's life by removing a license plate (?) -- in this case it helped the police to quickly find the vehicle and recover the child -- there's no indication the child's life was in any danger -- some kind of Familiendrama I would guess -- ?

You've posted before about a cover-up of the Alec Baldwin shooting incident -- it does seem that more stories designed to clear Baldwin and put the blame on others are appearing in the media -- here's one:

NYPost -- SAFETY LAST -- AD who allegedly handed Baldwin gun that killed Halyna Hutchins had history of unsafe practices: prop maker -- Dave Halls, the assistant director of “Rust” who allegedly handed Alec Baldwin the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins had previously allowed unsafe working conditions on another set

I wasn't there so I don't know what happened -- I assume it was an accident, meaning Baldwin did not intend to shoot anyone/did not know the gun was loaded with live ammo.

Still I also assume Baldwin pointed the gun and pulled the trigger, i.e. the gun did not 'go off' accidentally when it was unintentionally pointing at the female victim, although nearly every story you read about the incident is ambiguous about exactly what happened -- ? -- but perhaps this reluctance to say that he pointed the gun where he should not have and pulled the trigger is also part of the cover-up -- I mean, the woman who died was not an actress in the movie so why did he point the gun at her or in her direction, again assuming he did -- ? -- the story is that the person wounded was hit by the same bullet, which had passed thru the woman's body, fatally injuring her.

A recent tweet from the ADL (and yes I think they are 100% serious):

Halloween is a week away and you and your family might be brainstorming costume ideas. Check out our resource for reminders about how and why to avoid cultural appropriation, cultural stereotypes, and costumes that perpetuate gender norms.

Outside of the media bubble, how much demand is there really for shit like this? -- it's so OTT it could be taken for a parody.

Some more on Alec Baldwin: https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2021/10/24/head-armorer-on-alec-baldwin-rust-movie-set-said-she-almost-didnt-take-her-last-job-over-fears-she-was-not-ready/
The head armorer did not feels she was ready for the job? Sounds like she was right. Some interesting info in the comments, though I have no idea if it is accurate information (could say the same about any article):

She's hispanic/latino, a woman and her father was a head armorer (nepotism?), so she checks off on two diversity categories and may have had some kind of inside track on the job so was able to vault ahead of more qualified White males. Another commenter said that the crew was using the guns for target practice earlier which suggests the guns were loaded with real bullets.

I do wonder, just how hard is it to make sure a gun in the hands of any actor is loaded with a blank and not a live round? Should be standard practice to open any gun and look before putting in the hands of an actor. I also wonder, why do they use guns that can actually be fired as actual guns? Doesn't somebody manufacture fake realistic looking guns that can't fire an actual live round? I don't know if I would even allow a "prop gun" to be used for target practice on the chance a live round might be accidentally left in a chamber.

In any case, sounds like a massive lawsuit in the making and as for "you're a rude little pig" Baldwin, couldn't happen to a nicer guy (chuckle).
