ICE agents last week made an arrest at the Fresno County Superior Court in spite of direction from California's top law-enforcement official limiting immigration enforcement in state courthouses.
N.S.: Note that, as federal law supercedes state laws, California's top law-enforcement official has absolutely nothing to say to ICE. For years, corrupt local and state cops all over the country have refused to enforce federal immigration law, dishonestly asserting that such enforcement is exclusively the feds' job. (Actually, any sworn peace officer can and should enforce immigration laws.) But that was just a pretext, in order to aid and abet foreign criminals.
