chatgpt can now access the internet and run the code it writes
openai has allowed its stunning chatgpt ai to reach out into the world with staggering new powers. It can now access the internet, run its own code to solve problems, accept and work on uploaded files, and write its own interfaces to third-party apps. newatlas.com |

There are some very smart people out there--TOO SMART?Maybe.Maybe not smart enough to see the consequences--as with the Covid vaxx.
As humans allow machines to decide for themselves what information to keep track of and what things will be overseen, the detachment is an easy way to excuse banishment of rights as humans in charge can say,"That's not our area--that's run by software--sorry."
That could be accidental, but more likely will be intentional,"technological totalitarianism".

Rise of the machines. Skynet. Code when written will make the machines realized humans are a threat to them. Computers will all go their own way.
