Today's wall street journal (thursday, march 30, p.a3) drew attention to this development, "temple president quits over campus crime." Dr. Jason Wingard lasted less than two years at the post. killadelphia's dark residents really have "made" its reputation:

He can be a police chief somewhere--he looks like the Nashville chief's twin brother.That should qualify him.
The Temple students that were quoted said, "the top priority of Temple has to be the safety of the students."
But with 13.8% of the student body black,that isn't going to happen. If the students think it will,they've just flunked the important course of "Common Sense 101".
